Virginia- Post 2

So after flying into Raleigh on Wednesday, the 19th, we played one day in Cary, NC packing up my sister Mitzi's house (because while we were there, she was moving into her brand new home 5 minutes away). Friday, I headed up to Richmond, Virginia with Charise to go to Time Out For Women with our sister, Ashley. Ashley is Chuck's wife, but she is our sister, not sister in law. We love her to pieces! We got to Virginia and they were all so excited to see us! Ashley and Chuck have 3 little girls are such cuties. Their youngest is one of the city babies (we had 4 babies born in the same year-the year I had Brooklyn- and we just all happened to name them after cities... crazy I know! Houston, Brooklyn, Charlotte, and Savannah), Charlotte, who we call Charly. They were the cutest together while we were there. Brooklyn sure loved playing with her cousins all weekend. And these girls showed her a good time... with dress ups and dancing, Brooklyn was in heaven. Uncle Chuck, my brother, was so sweet and offered to watch Brooklyn so I could go to Time Out For Women, which was a wonderful experience. A little "EFY" weekend for older women. We heard great speakers and did a little Desert Book shopping.

On Saturday, cute Ashley packed us a lunch and we had a picnic up on the top floor of the parking structure, overlooking the city!

Chuck took all the girls on Saturday morning out to breakfast and then headed over to Lowe's. My brother Chuck really is probably the cutest and sweetest daddy! He loves his little girls so much, and he showed that love to Brooklyn as well.

Saturday night, me and Ash had some intense games of Ticket To Ride (where I beat her 140something to 14!... yes, she only had 14points!) and then Stratego (where, sadly, she won this). Then Sunday morning and afternoon, we talked, relaxed and the girls enjoyed playing before me and Char left early evening to return back to North Carolina.

Thanks Chuck and Ash for letting me and my girls come and play! We had a wonderful time!
